Hello! My name is Jenna Nash.
I am a 24 year old newlywed!
My amazing husband, Jon, and I got married just 7 short months ago on October 18, 2008. Our wedding was at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. It's the most beautiful place to have a wedding. The days up until the 18th were bright and sunny. Then, on
the 18th, it was cold and windy and horrible outside! I remember watching my bridesmaids shiver down the aisle. I was way
too pumped to be cold and it was still the most amazing, perfect day of my life. I still tell my friends that I miss my wedding
and I wish I could get married every day!
Right now we are living with a
friend in Virginia Beach to save some money. The goal is to be able to afford our own house when I start PA School next year.
I've applied to Physician Assistant Schools at EVMS and South University in Georgia. Right now I'm just playing the waiting game and I'm getting really anxious! I check the mail like
a crazy person! I know the mail only comes once a day but some nights I'll think "What if it's there now!!!" Crazy-I know.
Pretty soon it will be there and (fingers crossed) I will be back in school in January 2010 but this time I'll be wearing
a white coat!
Once I graduate from PA school,
I would love to work in an Emergency Room. I like the excitement of not knowing what kind of patient you will be challenged
with next. I would eventually love to work with a program like Doctors Without Borders so that I can travel to other parts of the world to practice medicine.
